Hi All,

Its been a long time since blogging was done. So many things happen and the taiwan trip will be the main highlight. But not here to blog about that today. Feel emo today. Had a quarrel over something today. So whats new right? Who on earth wont quarrel. Just that this time round, i don feel like backing down. I have been doing that so often. i need to breath.

a couple i know who have been together very long got married. more than 10 years together before they commit. After that, they divorced after a year. Weird right? To me, a lot of ppl will say 'wow u guys are together for almost 4 years liao. Can get married le.' And i do agree that we have been together for quite some time le. But inside myself, i also know that it only takes a spark to get a fire going. how long a couple has been together is no measure of their success.

At the end of the day, it takes two hands to clap, two hands to work. lets see.

I have to admit that i have not been blogging for the longest time i can remember. This mainly due to the fact of the just concluded exams.

God knows the what the results will be, but they are over arent they? lol...

Tml is the 8th June and its the first day of my taiwan word tour. Luggage packed. Money changed. Schedule planned. Everything done. Looking forward to this trip as been planning it for quite some time and its a good escape before i start work.

I decide to spend the max and worry abt finances when i return. Anyway, my life will be work work work after this. Praying hard that i can find a job soon.

Genting Trip 2009

Hahaha.. Yes, i went to genting again. This is the fouth tim in the last 1.5 years. I like the weather, i like the feeling that every place is interlinked. I like the fact that the shops are open till 1 or 2. Makes the day feel very long. Anyway, this was like a very normal trip. Nothing surprising or exciting to mention since i been there so many times le. But a trip with my loved ones will always be worth the fun.

Jobless

My sister came into my room just now. She asked me " You worried if you cant find a job". My answer was an immediate NO. What can i do if the economy is real bad. I never felt that a degree was a BIG thing. Yes, it was maybe 20 years ago. No longer anymore. Maybe if you go orchard ona saturday evening and throw a stone, chances are, you will hit a graduate. Worse, you might hit a masters. haha.. that is life.

There is limited i can do. Worrying wont help. I will just stay positive. Of cos i know many ppl around me are waiting for this day. My parents, relatives, my gf so on so on. I will try to make the most of the situation.

Had a quarrel yest over some trival stuff yest. Just when we were cooling down, as I was listening to 933, the DJ said something. It was good to quarrel. His arguement came from the point that during quarrels, we say things we normally wont say and that actually through quarrels, we get to understand each other better, like she wasnt happy when i did that or said that, that time...

Perhaps, as an anaolgy of a sponge, we will absorb each other's shortcomings. absorb and absorb until someone squeezes out all the water. Then we start to absorb again. thats the life of the sponge ba... as for us, we made up pretty soon. lol...

Welcome to TW

Oh yeah, my plans for the macau, HK, SZ has changed. We are going tw instead. There was supposed to be some cheap tickets from jetstar that made travelling to tw affordable. However, shit, i could not get the tickets in time. Was quite disappointed and almost wanted to change back my plans till i saw zuji.com. They had return tickets to tw for about 400+ on cathay. Quite a good deal, but need to transit, which i did not mind. We have a lot of time ma.. lol. . .

Still busy with my prelims and stuff. Shall book the hotels and my iti later. .

V Dae 2009

It has been a long time since i had any entries into the blog. I believe it has got to do with the momentum ba. Once you start, you cant stop, once u stop, you cant start.

Anyway, v day was pretty good. Went to the esplanade to watch breakout, which was funny and exciting. The seating for the esplanade was also nice. Although i bought the cheapest tickets, it was still quite worthwhile. Had dinner at sushi teh quite early to avoid the crowds.

Did some shopping before heading home. Its the 4th year liao, so pretty unevenful. Normal ba, i suppose.

V day Plans

Next sat is vday liao and I still do not have anything concrete. This is our 4th vday together. We have celebrated at posh places like chijmes, menotti and also normal places like sake. I think as we grow, we know that vday is just a marketing ploy to earn more $. So i will shun those places that offer set meals at high high prices. Not worth it. and since we are going overseas soon, must save up.. We shall see abt it. At the end of the day, its not the meal that matters, but the company . .

New post!

Yes, i am finally posting something. Forget my password, then been pretty busy so could not post anything. Anyway, its january already. So that means my exams are fast approaching. May, might seem be a long way to go but as i have 5 modules to cover, time is really running short, but i will be motivated to do well as i have plans for a WORLD TOUR 2009 after my exams, somewhere in june.. haha.. World tour meaning Macau, Hongkong and Shenzhen. Not bad la.. been actively planning and seeing how the cost could be reduced. Will update more when things are confirmed. Anyway, I just have to put all things aside to concentrate on my studies...

Yeah, its my birthday today and honestly, i have forgetten what it is like not to celebrate birthdays with my gf. She has always been the one to be with me. Never mind though, received her sms and her promise of a good meal when she returns. 52 hours to her return...

Rejections

Today was quite a day of rejections. Went out to meet two fren. Miss RK & Mr CJ, shall not disclose their identities.... Wow piang, last minute all put me aeroplane. Hmmm... but seriously, i wasn't angry. Perhaps it was because they were pretty good friends or perhaps, i looked at the bright side and the missed opportunity gave me time to do my own things, which is watching vcds. lol. My latest addiction, thanks to my gf. Perhaps, she lend them to me so that i wont stray when she is away??? HAHA....

Anyway, during the show, one of the characters said that when he was with his gf, he had to think of what to say and after 10 mins, there will be dead air. I think of my own relationship and my gf always tell me proudly that she is very happy that although our relationship is already more than three years old, we still talk to each other at least an hour per night. We talk abt everything under the sky. Not necessary the problems we face, but things that might not even concern us. I don't regard the conversations as a chore, but something that makes me understand her even more. looking forward to her speedy return. lol....

My gal called my from china and as i told her to, she bought a international call card so that we can talk without incurring the hefty roaming charges. So the conversation goes on and we put down the phone. After that i not shiok enough, want to talk more. So i calculated for her based on the card value of 0.8yuan/min, we should talk longer. Sendher a SMS and here's her reply

Cannot. Cos thursday i need to stay on a mountain. The charges is 1.20yuan/min. Talk tml ba. . ..

........ lucky i stay on the 4th floor in Singapore. In case they adopt such approach one day.

She's gone...

Yes, as i am writing this post, my dearie should be already on her plane seat on her way to bejing. Hmm.. she will be there for a total of 10 days. It will really very long. I will definitely miss her deeply man. Haiz. Just cant wait for 2nd Dec to come soon enough.

Baby's Birthday!!!

Its baby's 24th birthday today. But we didnt spend it together. Cos she has some school retreat and according to reliable sources, she is playing mj at this moment. lol... I wish that she is able to cope with her school work and will stay happy always. Stay healthy and may she always be happy with me.... Hope she is winning now.. lol.. Cheers!!!

Wow, what a weekend. Hardly slept at all. Friday night was spend playing mj then on sat i had make up classes in the late mornings. Afternoon went to my gf place before heading to Cafe vic at Carlton hotel for dinner buffet to celebrate my gf's birthday. At night played mj with her family. Played from 11 plus to almost 5 am. Tired............ but at least i won. lol

3 Years

Actually it has been exactly a week since we celebrated our anniversary. But yes, i am slow to update. Hmmm, it was like any normal sat ba. Shopping, snacking and a good dinner. We met at PS to have lunch before we walked all the way down to wheelock. In between, we kind of decided on what to buy for each other le. A crumpler bag for myself and a DKNY watch for her. But up to now, the gifts are still not bought yet. Haha... Anyway, after which, we had dinner at Sun with moon. Not the first time there, but the first time, we went there as a couple. The stuff there are honestly, quite expensive la. I mean, considering the fact that i am a student now. We ordered a rice, something like claypot rice, a rainbow roll which is much better than sushi teh and Sakae and a potato gratin which my dear enjoyed. Lastly for deserts was a platter. Total damage was 60 plus. Well within my budget, but portion was enough cos we had a heavy lunch. Anway, it was pretty cosy so i am pretty satisified. haha... Now for some pics...

After the food, i picked up a feedback brochure. Wow. quite cool, still can win trips to Japan. So i was writing writing writing, till one question. It says, Please tell us one thing that makes u happy. Of course its money la. But guess what i wrote on it.......



Yes, my girlfriend makes me happy. Haha... Being with her gives me motivation to do well. I want to care for her and provide for her. Although its been three years le, we still talk on the phone everyday. I just hope to quickly complete my studies and get a decent job. Other things can then fall in place....
