Genting Trip MMVIII

Yes, I am going genting again...

This is going to be the third time I went in the past year. But I just simply enjoy the place. It is relatively affordable and ppl go there just have fun. I can go play arcade, play the outdoor theme park, go shopping, eat lots of good food, especially the genting hotel breakfast, visit and hopefully win at the casino and of cos the cooling weather. My day seems especially long there. No worries and feel very relaxed...Fingers crossed but i hope that i wont injure myself there again as i did the last time... LOL.. No year end trips planned for end year so this should be it, but it is definitely one that I will look forward to. . . . .

When to CT's blog and heard this lovely song. I had also watched this TV series. Very soothing song. To me, I just want things to be done simply, I do not need fame or riches.

Money no Enough Part 3: Recession!!!

The news hit home today that Singapore is in a recession... Bad news isnt it. But to me, it wasnt much of a surprise. The warning signs were there since last year and as my baby always say, there is this 12 year cycle. Just that this time round, it looks like a bigger tsunami. But why worry? What goes up will come down. Similarily what goes down will come up. Lets just be patient and wait for things to recover. So how does it affect my par-tor-ing? Newspaper always interview families on how they will cope with this 'crsis'. So let me have my own version as well.

1) Minimize the taking of cabs. Dear, lets walk home from lakeside okay?

2) Eat less of restaurants and make use of more credit card discounts and coupons

3) Play lesser acrade games. Just see ppl play and share their joy if they can catch a toy

4) Watch less movies. Watch for VCDs or ah hemm............

5) Go for cheaper holidays? Maybe somewhere nearer like thailand instead of taiwan? Sounds d same la...
At the end of the day, its the quality time that counts. As xiang yun says, lets " shen shen shen"
