Rejections

Today was quite a day of rejections. Went out to meet two fren. Miss RK & Mr CJ, shall not disclose their identities.... Wow piang, last minute all put me aeroplane. Hmmm... but seriously, i wasn't angry. Perhaps it was because they were pretty good friends or perhaps, i looked at the bright side and the missed opportunity gave me time to do my own things, which is watching vcds. lol. My latest addiction, thanks to my gf. Perhaps, she lend them to me so that i wont stray when she is away??? HAHA....

Anyway, during the show, one of the characters said that when he was with his gf, he had to think of what to say and after 10 mins, there will be dead air. I think of my own relationship and my gf always tell me proudly that she is very happy that although our relationship is already more than three years old, we still talk to each other at least an hour per night. We talk abt everything under the sky. Not necessary the problems we face, but things that might not even concern us. I don't regard the conversations as a chore, but something that makes me understand her even more. looking forward to her speedy return. lol....

Intersting Facts of China

My gal called my from china and as i told her to, she bought a international call card so that we can talk without incurring the hefty roaming charges. So the conversation goes on and we put down the phone. After that i not shiok enough, want to talk more. So i calculated for her based on the card value of 0.8yuan/min, we should talk longer. Sendher a SMS and here's her reply

Cannot. Cos thursday i need to stay on a mountain. The charges is 1.20yuan/min. Talk tml ba. . ..

........ lucky i stay on the 4th floor in Singapore. In case they adopt such approach one day.

Yes, as i am writing this post, my dearie should be already on her plane seat on her way to bejing. Hmm.. she will be there for a total of 10 days. It will really very long. I will definitely miss her deeply man. Haiz. Just cant wait for 2nd Dec to come soon enough.

Baby's Birthday!!!

Its baby's 24th birthday today. But we didnt spend it together. Cos she has some school retreat and according to reliable sources, she is playing mj at this moment. lol... I wish that she is able to cope with her school work and will stay happy always. Stay healthy and may she always be happy with me.... Hope she is winning now.. lol.. Cheers!!!

Wow, what a weekend. Hardly slept at all. Friday night was spend playing mj then on sat i had make up classes in the late mornings. Afternoon went to my gf place before heading to Cafe vic at Carlton hotel for dinner buffet to celebrate my gf's birthday. At night played mj with her family. Played from 11 plus to almost 5 am. Tired............ but at least i won. lol

3 Years

Actually it has been exactly a week since we celebrated our anniversary. But yes, i am slow to update. Hmmm, it was like any normal sat ba. Shopping, snacking and a good dinner. We met at PS to have lunch before we walked all the way down to wheelock. In between, we kind of decided on what to buy for each other le. A crumpler bag for myself and a DKNY watch for her. But up to now, the gifts are still not bought yet. Haha... Anyway, after which, we had dinner at Sun with moon. Not the first time there, but the first time, we went there as a couple. The stuff there are honestly, quite expensive la. I mean, considering the fact that i am a student now. We ordered a rice, something like claypot rice, a rainbow roll which is much better than sushi teh and Sakae and a potato gratin which my dear enjoyed. Lastly for deserts was a platter. Total damage was 60 plus. Well within my budget, but portion was enough cos we had a heavy lunch. Anway, it was pretty cosy so i am pretty satisified. haha... Now for some pics...

After the food, i picked up a feedback brochure. Wow. quite cool, still can win trips to Japan. So i was writing writing writing, till one question. It says, Please tell us one thing that makes u happy. Of course its money la. But guess what i wrote on it.......



Yes, my girlfriend makes me happy. Haha... Being with her gives me motivation to do well. I want to care for her and provide for her. Although its been three years le, we still talk on the phone everyday. I just hope to quickly complete my studies and get a decent job. Other things can then fall in place....

F1 End season

It was a dramtic race with massa winning it, but not enough to prevent Hamilton from winning the drivers champ. Anyway, a conversation that lasted 2 hrs confirmed my doubts that dear still don understand how F1 works. Like a little kid, she will ask why this, why that and her replies will always be "wow, ni hao li hai wor, how u know" Very irritating when I am watching and ppl keep asking me questions, but thinking back, its just her. So innocent. . . Formula 2009 here we come~!

Yes, the above equations states how long me and my gf has been together. 155 weeks. Wow, its really been long. Definitely have our ups and downs, but I really do treasure her presence. Of cos there wll be times whereby she irritates me and asks me silly question, especially about F1 but i am really glad to have as my dear.

Next week, we will celebrate our 3rd year anni. Will have dinner at Sun and moon. Something which we have already decided in advance. Wont be able to celebrate our birthdays together this year though. So hope we will have a smashing good time next weekend. Yeah!!!

Post Genting Analysis

Actually, there was not much of a highlight during this genting trip. Lost at the casino, which is not a big thing and i don feel the pinch. Not that i am rich but perhaps its something expected after all, its just for the thrill ba. Perhaps because I have been there a couple of times, it made this trip non chalent. However, I still enjoyed the breeze and loved the moments i had with my dear when we had supper after casino. Having macs ice cream, fries and sippling hot noodles in the room. SHIOK. . .

Today was my cousin's birthday. How did she celebrate? Eating pizza hut, which is something i can do everyday. However, sometimes in life, we do not need to eat at lavish places, buy exp gifts or what. Just a simple meal and great company can do the trick. . .

Its the simple things in life that make one happy.

Genting Trip MMVIII

Yes, I am going genting again...

This is going to be the third time I went in the past year. But I just simply enjoy the place. It is relatively affordable and ppl go there just have fun. I can go play arcade, play the outdoor theme park, go shopping, eat lots of good food, especially the genting hotel breakfast, visit and hopefully win at the casino and of cos the cooling weather. My day seems especially long there. No worries and feel very relaxed...Fingers crossed but i hope that i wont injure myself there again as i did the last time... LOL.. No year end trips planned for end year so this should be it, but it is definitely one that I will look forward to. . . . .

Money no Enough Part 3: Recession!!!

The news hit home today that Singapore is in a recession... Bad news isnt it. But to me, it wasnt much of a surprise. The warning signs were there since last year and as my baby always say, there is this 12 year cycle. Just that this time round, it looks like a bigger tsunami. But why worry? What goes up will come down. Similarily what goes down will come up. Lets just be patient and wait for things to recover. So how does it affect my par-tor-ing? Newspaper always interview families on how they will cope with this 'crsis'. So let me have my own version as well.

1) Minimize the taking of cabs. Dear, lets walk home from lakeside okay?

2) Eat less of restaurants and make use of more credit card discounts and coupons

3) Play lesser acrade games. Just see ppl play and share their joy if they can catch a toy

4) Watch less movies. Watch for VCDs or ah hemm............

5) Go for cheaper holidays? Maybe somewhere nearer like thailand instead of taiwan? Sounds d same la...
At the end of the day, its the quality time that counts. As xiang yun says, lets " shen shen shen"

F1 Tickets

The excitement of F1 has finally reached peak level. I am a super fan of F1. My gf, perhaps just recently, of maybe because its now at our doorsteps. Din purchase tickets when sales open as i felt it was too pricy. But out of a sudden, i could help but went to ebay to see if there is any good deals. After 5 hours of searching, msging, emailing, i will still be watching the race from home. Haiz. . . I should be aroung the track just to soak in the atmosphere ba.

Finally the guys from the flyer are back with a much better response. No wonder this person's position is a AM. Very good reply and makes the reader happy. Anyway, since I complained that I did not get my photos taken, she has offered me the chance to go back and take photos again only.Not the free ride that I was hoping/expecting. Really doubt if I would go all the way back there just to take a silly photo. Hahaha.. will disucss with baby later. . At least this incident shows that CS in SP in still alive. Well done, Constancia !!!

TOTO 3 Million! ! !

Knew that the top prize for today'a draw was going to be 3 million. Thought of a lot of stuff. Like how the money is going to last me and what am i going to do. I will give 500,000 each to my parents, perhaps 250,000 to my sister. Give some to my relatives/gf's family and also open a sup card for her to spend. Wowhahahaha... SHIOK MAN!!! All the thoughts made me so happy.... Went back and check my $2 investments. 2 numbers only. Enough said, back to my books ba...
